Sunflower Kids is a Part of the Lexington Calendar Project!

Sunflower Kids is proud to be a part of the Lexington Calendar Project!

"What is the Lexington Calendar Project?" you ask?

The Lexington Calendar Project is an opportunity for business owners and nonprofits to come together for mutual benefit.  The project includes an actual printed calendar and monthly networking events.  Business owners benefit by growing their business through networking opportunities, connecting face-to-face with potential customers, and by demonstrating a commitment to community.  The nonprofits benefit by greater exposure of their name and mission.  Everyone wins!

February is the month Sunflower Kids is featured!  Check out our calendar page here and consider purchasing one of the beautiful calendars to support many of the great causes!
We also invite you to attend Sunflower Kids' networking event on Wednesday, February 19, from 4:30-7:30 at Fasig-Tipton Horse Farm (in the dining room).  Tasty treats will be provided by DaRae & Friends Catering!! Visit the Lexington Calendar Project web site for more information!  We hope to see you there!

Sunflower Kids Opens Satellite Center

We are very proud and excited to announce that we have opened a new part-time visitation center in Georgetown, KY.  This new center is housed in Northside Christian Church and offers visitation on Monday evenings and Saturdays.  Our new center will allow Sunflower Kids to better serve rural clients - especially those without transportation to Lexington.

The Georgetown community has been incredibly supportive in helping to open this center.  We have a long list of people to thank who made this possible.

First and foremost, we would like to thank Judge Tamra Gormley and her support staff for taking the lead on getting everyone involved and showing great leadership when it comes to keeping families safe.

We would like to thank the following supporters:

Chief Mike Bosse and the rest of the Georgetown Police Department
Sheriff Tony Hampton and the rest of the Scott County Sheriff's Office
Jack Conner, Laura Green, and the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce
Pastor Scott Coburn and Northside Christian Church
Attorney Melissa McQueen  and Attorney Adam Stotts
Jessica Johnson and Julie Snawder of Scott County DCBS
and the many others who have been involved

Additionally, we would like to thank the following financial supporters:
Toyota Manufacturing in Georgetown
Georgetown Community Hospital
Kentucky Bank
United Bank
